Okada, Keke heed to order

Anambra State chapter of All Tricycle Transport Association Anambra State, ATTAAS, has advised
operators, also known as Keke NAPEP, in the state to obey without further delay the restriction on their operations on Onitsha-Enugu and Onitsha-Owerri express ways by the state government.

Chairman of Board of Trustees of the association Mr. Mr. Dubem Nwadiogbu, gave the advice  while briefing newsmen on the association’s resolve to obey the government pronouncement.

He said that nobody had the right to challenge the government’s directives as it concerned running state affairs, more so, when the state government, through the Commissioner of Information Dr. Uju Nwaogu, had made clarifications on the area to ply.

Mr. Nwadiogbu expressed satisfaction that the government swiftly made the clarification that tricycle could operate anywhere in Onitsha except the two federal highways, contrary to the speculations that their operation was banned in the state.

“We are using this opportunity to thank the governor for considering it wise to make clarification on his directive on operation of tricycle,” he said.
