STATE Government has commenced processes for the sales and allocation of plots of land to private developers at the Executive Business District to be sited in Awka.             
Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano dropped the hint when he inspected ongoing clearing work at the site and creating of access route into the District.            
The Executive Business District, a new initiative of the Awka Capital Territory Development Authority aimed at improving the face of infrastructure in the Capital Territory, is located beside the Jerome Udoji State Secretariat, Awka.           
The District with a very fine topographical layout, has 107 public plots for commercial purposes and 125 plots for residential.             
Speaking after inspecting the site, Governor Obiano said the project constitutes part of his administration's strides at transforming the Awka Capital Territory to a worldclass status and explained that the procedure for the sales and allocation of the lands will be handled by the ACTDA and the State Ministry of Lands.         
Emphasizing the resolve of the State Government to ensure that the project is achieved in record time, the governor noted that prospective developers would have  six months to start developing the portions allotted to them or risk their Certificates of Occupancy being revoked.        
He noted having completed the Aerial Photography of the Capital Territory to be used in developing the masterplan that will enhance the infrastructural upgrade of the area, his administration has commenced the Aerial mapping of the entire state, expected to be completed by end of September, this year.
