When Unizik Management visited Obiano

www.odogwublog.com reports that the Vice-Chancellor Prof.  Joseph. E. Ahaneku, FAS led members of
the University Management on a courtesy visit to the Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency Chief Willie M. Obiano at Government Lodge, Amawbia.

The Governor explained that as the Chief Security Officer of Anambra State, measures have been put in place to secure the whole State.

Earlier in his remarks, the Vice-Chancellor Prof Joseph E. Ahaneku, FAS expressed gratitude to the Executive Governor of Anambra State for another staff of the University Dr. Obianuju Nwogu a lecturer in the Faculty of Law who has been elevated to the position of the Commissioner of Information, Culture and Tourism.

He thanked him for finding staff of the University worthy to contribute to the development of the State.
The Vice-Chancellor commended the Governor for the greatly improved security situation in the State. Prof Ahaneku also reassured the Governor of the University’s support in taking the State to greater heights.

Members of the University Management present at the visit include the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Prof Charles Esimone; Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Prof. Innocent Onyeyili; University Registrar Barr. C.C Okeke; Director, Early Warning Centre Prof. Carol Arinze Umobi; Director Infrastructure and Development Dr. Godson Okafor; Dean students’ Affairs and Chief Legal Officer of the University Prof. Kenn. Nwogu; Director, Information and Public Relations/ Chief Protocol Officer, Dr Emmanuel Ojukwu and Personal Assistant to the Vice-Chancellor Engr. Emmanuel Nwadike.
