Police corporal rapes seven- year- old girl in Kano

Kano State Police Command has arrested a serving police corporal, Sani Salisu for

raping a seven-year old- girl at a Brigade Quarters in the state.

An eyewitness said the police officer lured the teenager into a kiosk located at Mangoron Mahauta in the Brigade Quarters and had a carnal knowledge of her.

The Spokesman of the police Command, Musa Magaji Majia, confirmed the policeman’s arrest.

Majia told The Nation on Friday that the state’s police Commissioner, Ibrahim Idris, has directed the immediate transfer of the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for discreet investigation, adding that the public will be informed of any further development on the case.
