N50 Million Fraud: ‘’My own story’’, by Chief Mrs Nkolika Imo, Adadioramma Foundation Boss and Senator Andy Uba’s Associate
www.odogwublog.com report over the weekend that there was siege to arrest an Abuja socialite and the
founder of Adadioramma foundation, Chief Mrs Nkolika Imo, at her Ukpor , Nnewi South Local government area of Anambra state residence by over 20 policemen has been confirmed as true by Chief Mrs Imo herself. .
Her arrest was ordered by the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr. Solomon Arase for allegedly defrauding Prince Don Okonkwo of his N50 Million, but according to Chief Mrs Imo , the policemen had to leave her house when they were presented with court order against such plans.
Chief Mrs Imo, an Associate of Senator Andy Uba, Senate Committee Chairman on INEC and Senator representing Anambra South senatorial zone reacting to the allegations leveled against her on the N50 Million said ‘’Prince Don Okonkwo was on a mission to destroy her esteemed reputation and damage her standing before the right thinking members of the public for volunteering to assist him get some contract works willingly’’.
She lamented that Prince Don who she never knew before a lawyer Br Ifeanyi Udeaja and a former Labour Party Chairman in Anambra Comrade Jude C.J Digger brought him to assist him get INEC contracts is presenting the scenario differently from what transpired to gain cheap popularity.
The Adadioramma Foundation Boss admitted the N50 Million in question was not embezzled or fraudulently collected from Prince Okonkwo as he is painting but that Okonkwo was assisted to get a contract but his money was not complete to get the said offer.
She now asked him to take his money back and wait when he would have enough funds to get the contract since it is an ongoing thing at no extra favour to her but he refused insisting that she should be part of the contract. She has no other option than to keep the money but suddenly her mother died and on the process of running around for the burial of her dead mother, Prince Okonkwo called to take his money which she told him it was not the right time as he has to wait until after the burial. But rather than wait , he went and arranged to arrest me while doing the burial of my mother but I was informed and I went to court to secure an interim injunction against that.
Chief Mrs Imo said she even complained to the former member of House of Representatives for Aguata ,Nze Chidi Duru of his inability to give the other two guys what was agreed and my offence was that I said he should pay these boys their due from the contract.
Hear her: ‘’……let me not say much because the matter is already in court. I don’t know Prince Don Okonkwo before Br Ifeanyi Udeaja and C.J Digger and I assisted him to get the contract worth N19 Million with a caveat to ensure he shares profit with the two guys that brought him to my house because I don’t need anything from him. The contract was executed and he was in Abroad when payment was made and we kept the money for him when network became a problem and I gave Ifeanyi the cash when he returned but the two guys he came with Ifeanyi and Digger complained he did not give them their share.
‘’That apart when this second contract came, he came again for it but did not have enough resources to execute it and I asked to wait until he has enough because time was of essence but he insisted I must be part of it and what I did was to keep his N50 Million waiting for him to complete it or wait for next time since he contract is an ongoing thing but he insisted. I was avoiding this kind of situation but look at the blackmail and mudslinging against my person by somebody I am assisting. Is it fair?
‘’The business is ongoing but because I was informed about his plans to scuttle the burial of my mother last weekend, I had to go to court and injunction was granted to me to forestall any form of intimidation or arrest not because I am afraid of police but I had to give my mother a befitting burial. And the Judge’s order vacation will be until the determination of the main suit.
‘’ See me see trouble now. His money was not enough and I asked him to hold his money but he refused. And his plans to arrest me and disturb the burial of my beloved mother not a party or other ceremony but my mother’s burial was made known to me and I had to get a court order against that.
‘’And the next thing was trucks of police came for my arrest and they were not in the know of the court order against any arrest , we gave them that having served AIG at Umuahia and they left. This case is in Abuja not Anambra state hereoooo!
‘’For me in all honesty , I don’t have any issue with anybody including Prince Okonkwo and I don’t have any problem with anybody. His money was intact before I went for the burial. He called me and I said it was a wrong timing as I was home bound and we should see after the burial but he went on to smear my image and reputation. Even the court , I told them I have his money but he insisted I should keep it and his money is there. But since this is what he wants to do , lets wait for the court process to be exhausted and know the next stage………………………..’’
An Associate of Chief Mrs Imo , Ify Obinabo attested that what Imo was saying was nothing but the truth describing her as Madam Charity personified and whose charity has rather than bring favour has brought troubles like this case.
