Diezani Alison-Madueke and President-Elect flew British Airways today, one week to Nigeria Presidential Inauguration 2015

Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, today flew to London on British Airways with Nigeria’s President-Elect, Muhammad Buhari.
Buhari was on an scheduled trip, but Diezani who had been billed to travel to the UK next week Tuesday asked the airline to book her on the same flight as Buhari so that she could have a chance to discuss directly with the President-Elect.
The British Airways flight departed Abuja this morning at 9:00am Nigerian time.
Claims by the online media that Buhari is on a scheduled visit could however not be verified as several aides and close associates of Buhari said they were surprised to learn of the trip since they were with him till 7PM last night shortly after he arrived from his hometown, Duara.
Nigerians observers have expressed dismay that Buhari is undertaking a secret  unscheduled visit one week to inauguration without informing Nigerians.
Why is President-elect Muhammadu Buhari reportedly making a trip to the UK just days before his inauguration? Why is a trip to the UK so urgent it must be undertaken now? Why is there no official statement informing Nigerians of the trip, and the reason(s) for it?" asked Okey Ndibe, a prominent Columnist.
Adding; "That, for me, is a far more bothersome issue than the reported presence of outgoing Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison Madueke, on that flight".
