Anambra NUJ loses Anaother Journalist, the Sun South-East photo-journalist

The Sun photo-journalist for the South-East, Mr Okoro Ferguson Nwosu, is dead. He was aged 66
years.
A statement issued yesterday, by his son, Emeka, said that the ace photo-journalist died at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Ituku-Ozalla, on May 18 during  a brief illness.
The late Nwosu started his journalism career in 1975 with the old Anambra State Ministry of Information and had worked under several governors of the state before joining The Sun  newspapers about three years ago.
He was survived by five children.
Speaking on the demise of the journalist, Mr Chidi Nnadi, The Sun Assistant Editor and Head, South East Bureau,  described his death as shocking, saying that he was not sick to the point anyone would think he would die so soon.
Nnadi said the death of the ace photographer was a big loss to The Sun and the people of the South-East, where he plied his trade.
He consoled the family of the late photographer and prayed God to receive his soul in eternity.
According to Nnadi, the date for his burial would be announced by his family in due time.
