Xenophobic attack gets to Nigeria as Group shuts MTN Benin

A group known as 'The Flagship', which is an affiliate of

Edo Civil Society Organization

has taken their xenophobic grievances to MTN office in Benin City, Edo state, shutting down the premises in the process.

CSO acted through one of its affiliates ‘’The Flagship’. They protested the lootings and killings of Nigerians and other African citizens in South Africa, and called on all Nigerians to boycott the products and services of South African companies in Nigeria.

Some of the protesters were seen carrying placards that read:

“Nigerians Boycott South African Companies”

“South Africa Against Africa”

“South Africa Can’t be Making From Us And Killing Us”, etc.
