N15 Million Frauds: Police grants Nise Nice Micro Finance Bank Manager freedom, as she heads to court
Anambra State Police Command yesterday released Nneka Oragu, the bank manager of Nice Microfinance Bank, Nise, Eke Awka branch, after 8 days in detention over
allegedly N10 million fraudulent transactions.
The female manager was released after the Assistant Commissioner of Police made exclusive investigations on the matter and discovered that some of the people accusing the bank manager have a hand in the dirty deal.
Nneka had last two weeks surrendered herself about 10am and made startling revelations on how the transactions went indicting the bank chairman, Sir Chris Onoh, was invited and detained, too before Nise monarch, Igwe Romanus Iloh, intervened.
The girl will return sometime this week for further questions
by the police. The bank was querying her on why she leaked her information to
the press but probably because she knew she was innocent ………………..
The Manager is likely to head for court soonest as
Anambra courts have resumed Tuesday to pursue her fundamental human rights and
clear herself of the wicked fraud allegation and distorted facts that indicted
her since according to her she has all the records. She even appealed for
police protection as her life could be inn danger by her tormentors who asked
her to go into hiding in the first place……………..
But already some moves are on to use money to
cripple the case as police sources said money is exchanging hands to ensure the
revelations of the girl is not exposed to the public .
The Nice Micro Finance Bank is already bleeding and
it takes intervention of the management and Board of Directors to restructure
the leadership to save the bank or it goes down. Most of its braches are no
longer viable but just for existence sake ………………………………………….details later
