, and the senator elect for Anambra central, Iyom Uche Ekwunife has said that there is no truth in the rumour that the is working to get majority of the lawmakers in the state assembly in today's election so as to impeach Governor Obiano.
Ekwunife who spoke with journalists
after receiving accreditation said Governor Obiano had sent thugs and security
officers to her polling unit.
She said that security men were also
sent to her unit, on the allegation that she was not meant to vote in the area.
"They came here and collected
my PVC and also saw that it was a lie, as my card read that I was
to vote in the unit."
