Ekweozoh, candidate of MPPP seeking attention- Ekwunife Campaign Organization

described as laughable the current statement credited to the candidate of the Mega Progressive Peoples Party, MPPP, Mr. Chris Ekweozoh over the outcome of the last senatorial election in Anambra central senatorial zone.

In statement signed by the Director General of Uche Ekwunife Campaign Organization, Chief Augustine Anagu, the candidate of the party in the election was a mere attention seeker and seeking cheap publicity.

“Our attention has been drawn to a publication credited to one Chris Ekweozoh who claimed to be the candidate of MPPP in the last general election. In as much as we don’t want to join issues with him, we deem it necessary to address the issue and simply say that he is just seeking attention”

“In the said publication, Ekweozoh who addressed himself as a lawyer accused INEC of not releasing his agents’ identification tags and also said that the said INEC erroneously released his agents’ tags to one Evang Sam Amdika which means he was speaking from the both sides of his mouth”

Mr. Anagu further accused the lawyer of looking for cheap publicity, adding that to achieve such he smartly used the name of the Senator elect for Anambra central senatorial zone, Mrs. Uche Ekwunife as a vehicle to achieve cheap publicity.

He described the outcome of the National Assembly election in Anambra state as free, credible and met the requirement of the law and also said it reflected the wishes of the people of the zone.
