Why Chief Chris Uba Visited Obiano at Lodge and why Prince Arthur Eze’s Farm in Anambra is the biggest in Nigeria

The biggest project in Agulu (The home town of ex Gov Peter Obi) is not just the road projects but the 5 star Agulu Lake Hotel.

The above project was awarded to Messers Zhongtian Construction Nig Ltd on 27^th April, 2013 at the original contract sum of about #1.9bn with a completion period of 10 months from the date of mobilization. 

There was also an approval in Jan 2014 for the construction of additional  30 rooms at the Hotel, making a total number of four (4) floors in a revised contract sum of about #2.3bn.

When Gov Willie Obiano came into office (March 17, 2014), he paid a visit to the Hotel and based on the request by the State Govt for some changes in the course of the execution of the Hotel project to bring the Hotel up to the standard, and specifications, prescribed by International Hotel Operators/Managers, some variations and additional works were needed.

Question: Would Agulu people prefer anyhow hotel or International accepted standard?

On the original design and contract awarded in 2013 and Jan 2014, the building was a Pad Foundation, but now it is Raft Foundation as a result of extensive soil test carried out by Gov Obiano in the new building location which necessitated the redesigning of the foundation.

Question: Would Agulu people prefer a collapsed building after some years?

The original design provided for one Cargo Lift and one Passenger Lift, but these specifications were changed to Two (2) Passenger Lifts and two (2) Cargo Lifts.

Question: Which one is better?

The building was originally meant to face the road but it was later sited to face the lake to bring out more beauty and glamour associated with International Hotels that are sited near or by the lake(s).

Question: Go and check other similar hotel projects?

The external work design was also altered materially.  There was a lot of cutting and introduction of more parking lots, roads and beautiful landscaping.

In the original design, the extra load of the extra 30 rooms were not accommodated in the power room but now the extra load in the extra floors were accommodated, connection to EEDC 33kv line as well as the burying of connection cables etc

FOR the Record, Chief (Dr) Willie M. Obiano has poured close to #2billion naira into Agulu Lake Hotel project from March 17 2014 to March 1 2015 and would keep up the speedy completion of the Hotel.

It is therefore, deeply regrettably that some highly respected sons and daughters of Agulu are deceiving the people that Chief Obiano has stopped the projects in Agulu and environ.  ALL road projects and new ones are ongoing.

It is indeed a shame to these yesterday men and women that Gov Obiano told the people of Agulu that it was all lies.  Unfortunately, they hired disgruntled youths brainwashed with falsehood to cause some unnoticeable problems.

It is my personal view to remind anyone that violence should not be brought into the election and politics of Anambra through the back door because no town has the monopoly of violence and Governor Obiano cannot be intimidated in Anambra State by anybody.  He is doing a good job and has a good taste to finish any project that would leave a legacy for ndi Anambra. WE are tired of collapsed buildings.

I challenge anybody in Anambra today from any village or town who said that the administration of Chief (Dr) Willie Obiano has not touched their lives.  Gov. Obiano directly or indirectly has touched every Anambra person with his projects in all sectors of ndi Anambra developmental stride.  His achievement has continued to be a source of worry for those that left APGA on self-voyage of nuisance value to continue to open their basket mouth and using their cronies on the social media to write falsehood against the Governor, his family and his administration.

The latest outburst by sacked and disgraced Chief Joe Martins Uzodike is a typical example of one such man who has no electoral value having failed contested seats several times.  He posted that APGA is dead, well ndi Igbo and ndi Anambra would be the chief judge come this March 28 and April 11 elections. 

FOR the Record, ALL giant boards in Anambra State and Gov. Lodge clearly show how the people should vote----For the Presidential election it is PDP and for other elections it is APGA.  AGPA is contesting all elections except the Presidential one.  Gov Obiano has not hidden his preference to Mr. President, so these yesterday men and daughters are just wasting their time in making nothing of their miserable lives.

An ungrateful mole in Gov. Obiano administration who ran ABS down cannot advise ndi Anambra.  Chief Uzodike is witnessing a new ABS under a dynamic young man—Mr., Uche Nworah (MD of ABS).  His Excellency, Chief Willie Obiano is building a new state of the art studio and other infrastructure for a new ABS that would see ABS aggressively competing with CNN. 

In the same hand of friendship, he welcome Chief Chris Uba b/c Gov Lodge is the property of ndi Anambra and ALL are stake holders.

High Chief Prince Arthur Eze gave ndi Anambra $1m to boost security in the state.  His farm would be one of the biggest in Nigeria courtesy of the good relationship b/w Prince Eze and Gov. Obiano.  Prince Eze is now investing in his home state but yesterday men and women sees it differently.

Princess Stella Oduah, PDP Senatorial candidate for Anambra North is the chairperson of Anambra State Airport project but yesterday men and daughters wish to use it to lie to Mr. President.

THE big question still remains---Of the two Agulu Lake Hotel Project, which one would ndi Anambra prefer.  Who has the best intention for ndi Anambra?

Of the yesterday men and daughters vs. Gov. Willie Obiano, who has the best intention for ndi Anambra?
