www.odogwublog.com reports exclusively that thousands of placard carrying indigenes mostly widows of  Nne-Ogidi village Agulu in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra state yesterday protested what they
tagged forceful possession of their lands by one Mr Osita Ezechukwu known as Mgbedike.


The villagers carried placards with different inscriptions and marched through the area in dispute located between the West African Examination Council (WAEC) and National Agency for food, Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC) offices in Agulu.
They were weeping and chanting solidarity songs while urging the Anambra state government to speedily rescue them from Mr Osita Ezechukwu alias Mgbedike whom they alleged has forcefully taken away their plots of lands.
They lamented that the said Mr Osita Ezechukwu alias Mgbedike and a man from another village in Agulu , one Mr Anthony Oguejiofor connived to unlawfully take their lands from them.
 www.odogwublog.com further reports that they decried that the duo have sold over a hundred plots of lands belonging to different individuals and kindreds and clans in Nne-ogidi Agulu.
They revealed that they have also invited security operatives to the site to see for themselves what Mr Osita Ezechukwu had done to some of their construction works on the lands.
 The women who are mostly widows urged government to urgently look into d matter and also ensure that their children who were arrested and locked up by these men over issues bothering on the land are released to them.



But when contacted , Chief Anthony Oguejioffor known as Agidigbo speaking for himself and Osita Ezechukwu with others denied the forceful takeover of the land as according to him the matter went through the court processes till the Supreme court which gave verdict in their favour , wondering what they wanted to achieve from the protest.
Chief Oguejioffor insisted that had it been court is on , they protesters would have been served with form 48 and 49 for contempt.
