MASSOB Plate Numbers circulate in Onitsha , as police arrests one

www.odogwublog.com reports that the Movement for the Actualization of  the  Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, yesterday in Onitsha, Anambra State,  

accused politicians in the state of training fake MASSOB members to be used during the conduct of  the 2015 general election.

MASSOB Deputy Director of Information, Mazi Chris Mocha who revealed this stated that investigation was ongoing to unravel those behind the scene adding that the movement would not allow its name to be dragged to the mud.

He therefore disassociated MASSOB from the said criminal activities of the politicians warning that MASSOB would not hesitate to report such criminal activities to the police for necessary action.

He specifically pointed accusing finger at politicians in Mkpikpa layout, Okpoko in Ogbaru LGA where he said the fake MASSOB members were being trained and sponsored by the politicians.

The suspected members are being sponsored and trained by politicians in Anambra towards the 2015 General Elections.

In a related development the newly introduced Biafran vehicle particulars, Plate number and Driver’s license were said to have been circulated in Anambra State with some motorcycles carrying the new plate numbers.

Mild drama however played out at Fegge in Onitsha yesterday over the arrest of one Mr. Friday Okechukwu who claimed to be member of  MASSOB from Awka North Local Government Area.

Mr. Okechukwu was said to be plying the streets of Fegge in Onitsha South without the newly introduced Biafran insignia when he was arrested by the Police at Bida Road/Modebe Avenue in Onitsha.

There was another drama at Ogbaru area when an Okada operator, Mr. Uzonna Anozie, a MASSOB member in Ogbaru Area drove to the scene with the Biafran plate registration Marked “United States of Biafra” Abia state No. AWZ 03 AA.

The Police corporal who hid his service name tag had simply told the Okada operator, Mr Anozie to go after he had checked his driving license, vehicle insurance certificate, but took Mr. Okechukwu away for detention for not having the Biafra plate number.
