She added that such is inimical to good governance, delivery of dividends of democracy and national growth .
Mrs. Buhari spoke on Monday during a courtesy visit to Ahmed in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, on the voter education for the electorate by the APC women leaders.
She commended the Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, for maintaining a cordial working relationship with his predecessor, Dr. Bukola Saraki.
She stated that women constituted 55 per cent of the registered voters in Nigeria, adding that it was imperative to provide them with sufficient political enlightenment so that they could cast valid votes during the March 28 and April 11 general elections.
She said the major supporters of APC and the party’s presidential candidate, Buhari, and his running mate, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, were the masses.
She said, “Our major supporters are the masses, especially knowing the presidential candidate of the present mega party, APC. He was in ANPP, CPC and now APC, which makes it not easy for people who are not literate to identify it (the party logo) easily.
“I think Ilorin is so lucky to have him (Ahmed) as a governor because he knows that he has a leader unlike in other states where the successors and the sitting governors are not in good terms; which is not good. Politically, it is not healthy.”
Ahmed accused the Peoples Democratic Party-led Federal Government of not providing quality leadership for the development of the country.
He said there had been complacency, impunity and corruption with the PDP-led government.
According to him, the 16 years of PDP’s governance at the federal level have not impacted positively on Nigerians.
He stated that Nigerians deserved better governance, saying the desired change would only come through the APC.
