APGA Chieftain Decamps to PDP in Ihiala with hundreds of supporters

Hundreds of All progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Ihiala local government area, led by Hon Idu Louis Emeka Eze known as John Lees has defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to ensure President Goodluck Jonathan win the 2015 Presidential election reports www.odogwublog.com .

They were received during a political forum in his compound in Ihiala by the PDP stakeholders in Ihiala including the Deputy Minority Whip in the Anambra state House of Assembly and PDP candidate for House of Representatives for Ihiala, Hon Emeka Anohu.

John Lees said his decision to defect to the PDP was borne out of the desire to move with the trend as he knows that it is only the PDP that will provide the needed platform to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people as the ruling party.

The Chieftain and Philanthropist who was received into the party by PDP ward chairman Ama-Amu ward B , Ezinna Cosmas Ejezie assured he would leave no stone unturned to ensure victory for all PDP candidates in Ihiala .

He was presented with the party’s card after he promised to work with like minds to deliver Ihiala from the shackles of poverty.

 Deputy Minority Whip in the Anambra state House of Assembly and PDP candidate for House of Representatives for Ihiala, Hon Emeka Anohu informed that the PDP will reclaim with his support now more easy than envisaged as he has grass root appeal in Ihiala.

He urged supporters of the party to put away their differences and work towards ensuring that the PDP succeeds in the general elections, for the  re-election of President Jonathan.
