You’re not Imo APGA guber candidate, INEC tells Okey Ezeh

There is confusion as the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) yesterday declared that Captain Emmanuel Ihenacho is the authentic governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for the April 11 gubernatorial election in Imo State.
This came following the claims of Mr. Okey Ezeh that he remained the candidate of the party, having been produced from primaries conducted by the Cletus Nwaka-led faction of the party.
The INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in Imo State, Dr. Gabriel Ada, made this declaration in his office in Owerri, while briefing newsmen.
While clearing the air on the claim of one Mr. Okey Ezeh as the governorship candidate of APGA in the state, Dr. Ada said that there was no confusion on who the party’s candidate for the April 11 election in the state was, stating that Capt Ihenacho had undoubtedly remained on their list as the lone and authentic governorship candidate for the election.
The REC went further to display the list of all governorship candidates in the state to the press with Capt Ihenacho as the party’s gubernatorial standard bearer and Rt. Hon. Ike C. Ibe as his running mate.
However, on the non availability of Permanent Voters Cards (PVC) in Owerri North Local Government Area, the REC said the commission would make the cards available before the commencement of the elections.
