The political ambition
of the incumbent senator representing Anambra central in the National Assembly
may be heading for serious crisis following what happened in his home town, reports www.odogwublog.com.
The traditional ruler
of Alor Town, Igwe Mark Anthony Okonkwo (Ezedioramma III of Alor) and his
cabinet members endorsed Chief Sir Victor Umeh as its sole candidate to
represent Anambra Central Senatorial Zone.
They made this known
when Umeh paid a courtesy visit to the traditional ruler. He lamented that the
Alor Community has been without electricity for the past 4 years and wondered
why their son Senator Chris Ngige who is the Vice Chairman Senate Committee on
Power abandoned the community. The Royal Father thanked Chief Victor Umeh for
his struggle to restore the right and dignity of Ndigbo in Nigeria……………….
