Obi Consoles Bishop Obinna, IG over death of Bishop of Aba and AIG Maishanu

The former Governor of Anambra State and the Deputy Director General of the PDP National Campaign Council, Mr. Peter Obi  has commiserated with the Archbishop of Owerri and the Metropolitan of the Archdiocese,

Most Rev Dr. Anthony Obinna on the death of  the Catholic Bishop of Aba Dicoese, Most Rev. Dr. Vincent Ezeonyia.

Obi who said that his death came to him as a surprise, prayed to  the Almighty God to reward him for his dutifulness in shepherding  His flock at Aba and other places he worked during his Apostolate. 

Recalling his encounters with Bishop Vincent Ezeonyia,  Obi described his death as a great loss not only to Aba Docisese and the Owerri Ecclesiastical Province, but to the Universal Church.

In the same vein, Obi also commiserated with the Inspector general of Police,  IG, Suleiman Abba on  the death of  AIG Ibrahim Maishanu.

Obi who said he was saddened by his demise, prayed to God  for the repose of his soul .
