Lawmaker Shot By Army Officers in Abia

 Hon. Darlignton Nwokocha, a sitting member in the Abia State House of Assembly representing Isiala Ngwa North and the PDP candidate
for the Isiala Ngwa North and South Federal  House of Representatives was shot by Army officers who were in an unmarked Hilux truck with no licence plate number in Isiala Ngwa South today.
The incident occurred in the evening of February 6, 2015 at Isiala Ngwa. His vehicle was seen abandoned and riddled with bullets.
According to reliable sources, Hon Darlignton Nwokocha has been declared missing by his people as his whereabouts remains unknown to his family. The matter has been reported to the authority. Particularly, the incident has been reported to the Brigade Commander Ohafia and the Abia State Government.
