The Seme Command of the Nigeria Immigration Service
(NIS) on Monday said it deported 433 irregular immigrants between January and
December, 2014.
The command’s spokesperson, Mr Salman Yusuf, told the News Agency of Nigeria
(NAN) in Seme that 50 Nigerians were also deported from other countries during
the period. Reports
have it that they were apprehended at the ever busy Mubi
roundabout following a tip-off by a tricyclist (keke Napep operator)
who suspected them and felt uncomfortable.
