Gunmen this afternoon killed Hon. Tobby Onyekele in Owerri, the Imo State capital.
Onyekele was a Commissioner in the Imo State House of Assembly Service Commission.
He served as a local government chairman during the immediate past administration of Chief Ikedi Ohakim.
“He was killed at the MRS filling station, Ugwu-Orji along Okigwe road, Owerri.
The Imo Police Command has yet to comment on the murder.
