Governor’s wife, Mrs Ebele Obiano splashes N100,000.00 each and gifts to mothers of Multiple births

The State capital at the Secretariat of Anambra State Government was on Friday throng into jubilation and excitement when the Ministry of Women Affairs

under the distinguished leadership of Dr Nkechi Chikwelu as the Commissioner for women affairs invited mothers in the State, rich and poor from all works of life to be honoured.

According to www.odogwublog.com fan, it was a sight full of tears of joy and mixed feelings as women and men clustered in the numbers to celebrate the wonders of 21^st century in Anambra State where mothers where blessed triplets, quadruplets, etc. These people came in their large numbers. Those who were shedding tears of joy could not hold their amazement on how their colleagues survived pains and difficulties in carrying such numbers and difficulties involved in weaning them considering that exclusive breast feeding would be a matter to them.

Speaking to the congregation before the gifts were dished out, the Commissioner of Women Affairs, Dr Chikwelu restated Government efforts to appreciate God’s goodness and mercy to our women.

The Commissioner made it clear that these gestures were clarion needs to assist these families take care of their God’s magnanimous gestures. On that note the Ministry started giving the parents of the children N100,000.00 cash gifts and other food items like bags of rice, cartons of noodles and what have you.

In appreciation to what God had done, the families that came could not hold their joy and happiness and the workers who witnessed the occasion kept akimbo and amazed on what these families had experienced by the current administration.
