The Acting General Manager, of ASUDEB , Mr
Mmaduakonam Amaechina who led the demolition exercise called on the landlords
who are in the habit of building under the Power Holding Company of Nigeria
(PHCN) High tension lines to desist from such dangerous act.

of individuals are endangered by the act, saying the state government would
deal decisively with any developer found wanting.

plots using the beacons already in place on the ground, noting, that if they do
otherwise they are mutilating the layout plans.

roads provided in the layout, Amaechina, warned developers to desist from violating
already mapped out structural plans of an estate , urging the developers to
always comply with the Town planning requirements for the development of any government
approved layout by getting approval before development of any land.
Speaking, Secretary Blessed Maryland Estate
, Mr Osita Enundu commended the enforcement of the government development plans
by the ASUDEB but appealed to the state government to come to their aid in
building infrastructure including roads, portable water, electricity , hospital
among others to make the estate friendly .
He expressed displeasure on the way some
landlords tend to disobey the government laid down rules and directives on building.
