Ambode is sick as Alarm over fake Ambode medical report ?

The Eko Liberation Movement has raised the alarm over the attempt by a face­less group to procure a fake medical report to

discredit Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, the governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming governorship election.

Convener of the Eko Lib­eration Movement, Mr. Gbo­lahan Agboola, in a statement, said Ambode was sound in mind, body and spirit, saying: “No amount of shenanigan by the desperate opposition to dis­credit him will change our re­solve to support him in his bid to keep Lagos on the track of greatness and prosperity.

“It has come to our notice that a faceless group is trying to procure a fake medical report like they did to the presidential candidate of the APC, General Mohammadu Buhari, that he had prostrate cancer. These agents of destabilization seem to be ready to do anything to stop the forward march of Lagos. Their latest antics are to claim that Ambode had suf­fered a strange mental illness. It seems that there is no morali­ty in this war to ‘capture’ Lagos this time around. We cannot be hoodwinked or deceived by any false claim from any group or individual. Ambode is our man for the job of moving La­gos to the next level.

“Ambode had served meri­toriously in the civil service of Lagos State for 27 years and retired as the accountant gen­eral of the state. He delivered on the job and raised the bar of excellence when he spear­headed the design of the tem­plate, which has increased the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) from a paltry N600 mil­lion to almost N20 billion to­day. He possesses the mental, spiritual and physical capac­ity to take Lagos to the next level.”

He, therefore, appealed to well meaning Lagosians and indeed Nigerians to disregard such rumours and ill-advised activities of the opposition to give Ambode the needed sup­port to win the April 11 gover­norship election to take state to the next level.
