Why Umeh is relevant for Ndigbo in 2015, --Obele Chuka

Human rights Activist and former chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) , Onitsha branch, Obele Chuka has described the National chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) and the senatorial candidate of the party for Anambra Central district, Chief Victor Umeh, as Igbo candidate for the eight senate of the federal Republic of Nigeria.

The former NBA boss who stated this in an interview with the New Telegraph in Awka Anambra state, urged every Igbo to be part of the commitment to deliver the APGA Chief to the National Assembly.
He said he came into the Umeh’s campaign by act of personal conviction that he (Umeh) is the best candidate for the job at this moment in history.
He said ‘’ this man smells Igbo; sleeps Igbo, dresses Igbo and thinks Igbo and so nobody can give us better representation than he can do.”
Reminded that a certain female candidate of a political party had been alleged to have been anointed by the Presidency as the next senator for the district, Chuka described the claim as malicious and defamatory to the first family of the country.
He threatened to take appropriate action on the issue at the right time when he must have got sufficient information about the said malicious claim.
The former NBA chairman who restated that Umeh’s outing in the National Conference showcased him as the senator Ndigbo would need in the red Chamber to prosecute for the creation of the additional state(s) in the south-east and other matters as recommended at the National Conference.
