The members of united Igbo people’s congress  (UIPC) Anambra state chapters has condemned the unwarranted, stupid and cowardice acts of some disgruntled and frustrated politicians and their agents in Anambra State mostly in Anambra central zone. The destruction and defacing of political billboards and posters belonging to Chief Victor Umeh (Ohama Dike Ndigbo by some agents of his political opponents is an act of cowardice. The emergence of Chief Victor Umeh, APGA candidates for Anambra senatorial zone into the senatorial race has send fears into his political opponents.
Destruction and defacing of his political billboard is on open expression of frustration, fear, displacement and jittery on the side of his political opponents and agents.
Even in these political persecutions, Chief Victor Umeh is still waxing stronger, enlarging his political territories with wide range of support from the woman, youths, students civil servants, keke/Okada riders, market men/ women, Town Unions, Traditional/ Religious leaders, social-political Organizations, market Leaders from Anambra Central zone. Chief Victor Umeh also command respect and attract people’s acceptance beyond his senatorial zone and Anambra state.
Chief Umeh, as true leader in Igbo land who was tutored by Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu to be eloquent, fear less, selfless and brave in agitating for and protecting the interest of Ndigbo in Nigeria. Equiped by the mantle of leadership bestowed on him by Dim Emeka O. Ojukwu (Eze Igbo gburugburu). He led APGA through the waters and fires of persecution, destabilization and defacing of the Igbo party.

His arrival at the National Confab was received with a loudest ovation among the Igbo delegates and send fears and jittery to some delegates who are enemies of Ndigbo. Chief Victors Umeh openly and eloquently advocated for another state for South-East which was also recommended.

United Igbo Peoples Congress declares our support and votes to Chief Victor Umeh for Senate in Anambra central zone, we also declare our support for President Goodluck Jonathan and other Progressive candidates who have Igbo interest at heart no matter their political party because UIPC doesn’t support political parties.
