Senatorial election: Oduah will deliver democratic dividends as promised to Anambra North – Obiogbolu

A People Democratic Party (PDP) Chieftain, Dr Alex Obiogbolu, has expressed optimism that Princess Stella Oduah would deliver the needed democratic dividends to Anambra North Senatorial Zone, when elected.

www.odogwublog.com reports that Obiogbolu said this yesterday in Orum-Etiti in Anambra West LGA, near Onitsha, Anambra during a grassroots rally of the PDP, which was organized by Oduah Campaign Organisation.

The rally, which was tagged: ``PDP Demands 100 Per Cent Vote from Anambra West LGA’’, was part of efforts to install PDP at every level of national elective positions for Anambra State.


``Oduah has been passionate about Anambra North people’s welfare and wellbeing.

``Her philanthropic gestures in education, sports, vocational training and youth empowerment as well as association and love for our people had endeared her in our hearts.


``And with what she had done already; we are never in doubt that she would deliver the much needed democratic dividends to our people, the people of Anambra North zone,’’ he said.


The PDP chieftain noted that PDP stakeholders within the zone had already entrusted their votes and representation on her; adding: ``With Oduah, we are sure of an effective and responsive representation at the senate’’.

Obiogbolu, who had been a PDP governorship aspirant in Anambra, noted that she had placed great commitment and will in giving back to the society especially communities in Anambra North zone, what she had made within her private and public life endeavours.


``And in the mist of 101 senators, she has the passion, doggedness and connection to fight and get what belongs to Anambra North people as well as bring them back home for our benefit.

``I have a personal conviction that she would live up to our expectation as a people,’’ he said.


On the rally, the PDP chieftain said it would make the people fix the philanthropic name Oduah to the face as well as be able to feel and hear her.

He revealed that PDP stakeholders in their various quarters are presently canvassing for massive vote for the party and Oduah; noting: ``We would retain all elective positions for PDP and Oduah’’.
