President Jonathan Sure of Victory- says Peter Obi

The former Governor of Anambra State and the Deputy Director-General, South of the PDP National Campaign Council, Mr. Peter Obi said that President Goodluck Jonathan would win the next month Presidential election. Speaking to journalists at Umuahia yesterday during the campaign, Obi said that the wide acceptance of the President was always reflected in the number of people that attended his rallies in all the places visited so far.

Explaining why  Jonathan will win, he said that his administration had achieved salient results in all the sector of the economy. "The other day, the transfer that stopped running in the country over 30 years ago were back to tracks. For the first time, genuine attention was paid to our education sector, with the setting up of 14 new universities in the country. In the area of agriculture, besides our import bill reducing by over 50%, the investment in the sector has grown tremendously, from 100 million dollars in 2011 to 3.2billion Dollars. Today Nigeria has achieved self sufficiency in cement, which was impossible a few years ago", Obi said.

Obi also commended the visit of Mr. President to Borno state to, among other things, felicitate with soldiers that are fighting insurgents in the North-East. He described the gesture as humane and the manifestation of Mr. President's good and noble thoughts about the country.

Calling on Nigerians to return him to power, he said he needed four more years to complete the good work he has started  in the country.
