Nawfia Monarch wants Igbo Presidency to be compensation

www.odogwublog.com reports that the traditional ruler of Nawfia, Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo yesterday said Nigerians should compensate the Igbos with the nation’s presidency seat by 2019 presidential election to ensure their full integration into its body polity.

He passed a vote of no confidence on the principle of rotational presidency, saying that the right should be given to the Igbos after the expiration of the tenure of whoever wins the 2015 general elections.

He said the Igbos are easily the greatest developers in Nigeria with their investments scattered all over the federation, and should be given the opportunity.

Igwe Nwankwo who spoke to the press in Nawfia on some national issues, said to demonstrate that the Igbos have being welcomed into the Nigerian nation after the end of its civil in 1970, they should be fully integrated as equal citizens among Nigerians by ceding the seat of the president to them to choose among them a candidate to occupy the nation’s number one exalted position.

Igwe Nwankwo stressed that for a group which wanted to secede from the Nigeria nation due to injustice against them was forcely brought back through the barrets of the gun by other Nigerians, to demonstrate their full integration into the Nigerian nation, other Nigerians should wisely welcome them back with love like a woman whose husband welcomed back to his house with merriment and show of love after beating her and driving her away from her matrimonial home.

He recounted with sadness the untold marginalization of the Igbos who has contributed immensely to the nation’s growth and development.

The royal father commended Governor Willie Obiano for declaring last Monday the 12^th of January 2015 a work free day in Anambra State to remember the Igbos who lost the lives in during the nation’s civil war.

He equally paid glowing tribute to the governor for ensuring a hitch free yuletide celebrations courtesy of his sound security network.

On the 2015 general elections, Igwe Nwankwo asked the electorate to vote according to their conscience representatives they think will move the nation to the next level.
