Idemmili South roots for Ekwunife, as Arthur Eze doles out over N20 Million in support of PDP

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senatorial candidate for Anambra central senatorial zone, Hon Uche Ekwunife yesterday got the highest boost in Senator Chris Ngige’s strong holds Idemmili South local government area as communities in the council endorsed her candidacy against Ngige.

As if that was not enough , the Oil magnet and PDP strong man ,Prince Arthur Eze coincidentally sparked off a serious campaign for her throwing over N20 Million naira for Alor and Oraukwu communities in support of Ekwunife.

www.odogwublog.com reports that Eze spoke at the palace of Igwe Chinedu Okonkwo of Alor and compound of Sir Johnson Chukwujekwu Ezeanya at Umueze Village Oraukwu  where he doled out N10 million and over N15 million for widows and electorates to ensure they are eating before election comes.

He appealed to Idemmili people to vote Ekwunife after voting Jonathan as well as other PDP members for better representation as currently done by PDP. He added that their son Engr Emeka Eze of DG of Due process has done the presidency and PDP proud by being diligent with his duties and has done one or two remarkable things in Alor and Idemmili especially with regards to erosion control and roads that would warrant them voting PDP.  

He restated that President Goodluck Jonathan is the best leader ever in Nigeria and should be supported to return for a second term and informed them on why they should throw away APGA and APC as PDP remains the best option for the South East and Anambra in particular.

Prince Eze www.odogwublog.com informs said further that President Jonathan is God fearing and does not listen to gossip , lamenting how Yorubas betrayed Ndigbo during Biafran war even as he narrated how the first lady Dame Patience Jonathan appealed to Ndi Anambra to support Ekwunife. He informed that if power mistakenly eludes Jonathan that Ndigbo would regret it and rather than regret do everything possible to vote him in.   

On her own , member representing Anaocha/Dunukofia,Njikoka Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Hon Uche Ekwunife said the greatest thing that would happen to them is to vote PDP in to government on 14^th February , 2015, as they would not regret the investment of voting her in.

She said the meeting was specifically for APC members to convince and convert them to vote for PDP on the election day as their son and brother had performed poorly in the senate despite that he did well as Governor. She insisted that although in different parties, they should know that APGA and APC will not take Anambra electorates or politicians anywhere as no key officers would be given to them.

Ekwunife who was flanked by Prince Arthur Eze , Engr Emeka Eze and  Dr Okam , Chairman of National Hospitals Board insisted that Ngige was’nt a fantastic senator and if they vote him again he has nothing to offer.

She asked for vote for Jonathan and herself as well as other PDP contestants and in doing that sentiments should be thrown in the dustbin. She thanked Prince Arthur Eze for his magnanimity in supporting her and all her support all this while to the party.

Contributing, Engr Emeka Eze assured Ekwunife and Arthur that PDP would take over the community as they would do everything possible to demystify certain believes enumerating how he has attracted development from President Goodluck Jonathan’s government Alor and Oraukwu including Oraukwu grammar school and Alor and Oraukwu road as well as scholarships abroad for Oraukwu,  indigenes.  

Highlight was anointing of Prince Arthur Eze and Hon Uche Ekwunife by the Vicar , St Thomas, Anglican Church Oraukwu , diocese on the Niger, Rev Canon Izuchukwu Obiekwe.
