Chief Albert Okey Ibekwe ,Chairman of Onitsha main market declares Market safe and investor friendly

Onitsha main market chairman, Chief Albert Okey Ibekwe has, in an exclusive interactive session with the press revealed that since the implementation of the 'operation mkpochapu' combined security force policy and raiding of hatch-points of these societal miscreants like drug-addicts assembly grounds where they sell hard and illegal drug, his constituency which is Onitsha Main market has undergone what  referred to as a 'new birth'.

He made this remark in his end of year reflections on how far the state has fared and prospects he was anticipating for his darling state and field of service. Chief Ibekwe used the medium to say kudos to the Willingly Working Governor's Administration. He mentioned  the beautiful lights and sights that adorn Onitsha flyover and other parts of Anambra which he said he heard was courtesy of the wife of the governor and he ejaculated Chief Mrs  Obiageli Obiano's title name - 'OSODIEME!'.

Albert Okey Ibekwe reminisced with disgust how  thuggish ruggish' it used to be in the parks especially his. 'They even converted certain sections of the park into  'Igbo bunks'(marijuana dealing centres),' he sadly recounted. The passengers - most of them, tended to grow phobic about coming into the parks to board vehicles to their destinations. 'Many uncouth youths were lured into gangsterism, armed robbery, hemp smoking and all what not. Some young ones got shot in cold blood. But as soon as the Chief Dr. Willie Obiano and launched the 'RAID ALL HOOLIGANS' BREEDING SPOTS' with a combined force from all the forces in the state.

Chief Okey Ibekwe relayed how people are now more confident in the business city of Onitsha and how driving in the evening, he used to sight people leisurely strolling under the brightly lit, aesthetically enhanced flyover looking glowing and assured of their safety.  He also noted how he dabbled into the news that recently the wife of the governor visited inmates in prisons to admonish them and many orphanages including the Daughter of Charity Orphanage, Fegge, Onitsha. He praised the governor and his wife and prayed God to keep them and guide them through his tenure in office.
