A major fire outbreak has been reported at Balogun market in Lagos Island with many properties destroyed.
Four shopping plazas, including a bank building were affected by the fire which started at about 3am on Monday.
Firemen were still battling to quell the inferno at the time of this report.
No casuality has been reported.
