VOTE FOR CREDIBIITY AND BETTER REPRESENTATION – AYFF
The Amuda Youths Friends Forum (AYFF), on Igbo Socio-Cultural and Political Organization advised the people and electorate of Isukwuato and Umunneochi Local Govt. Areas to be more conscious of this year’s general elections which will start on Feb. 14, 2015.
The political tension, atmosphere and verbal war should not overwhelm our people because the voting power belongs to the people. We caution that campaign for political party should not confuse the people of Isukwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency.
AYFF, as a grass-root organization with the progressive economical, social, academical and political interest of Ndi Isuochi and Ndigbo in general directs our people to vote credible candidates that will reflect and effect good and quality representation, hard working, grass-root development and good leadership.
The people of Umunneochi/Isukwuato Federal Constituency needs Agricultural development, youths and women empowerment, Rural Electricity development and Support for Small Scale Industries.
AYFF have vow to defend the voting right of our people. We shall never allow political manipulations, thuggery or rigging of people’s vote in our constituencies. The youths have resolved that no external forces or influence will ever operate in Umunneochi/ Isukwuato Federal Constituency during the general elections.
Amuda Youths Friends Forum condemns the insensitivity and unseriousness of INEC officials in Umunneochi L.G.A. over their inability to release the permanent Voters cards (PVC) of Umunnechi electorate. We demand for the interest of our people’s right, the immediate release of PCV’s in Umunneochi L.G.A.
The refusal to release the PVC is another plot to deny our people their voting Right of electing our chosen candidates. AYFF also warn the Umunneochi INEC Officials to stop collecting money from our people before releasing the permanent Voter’s Card.
AYFF supports the continuity of Hon. Nkiru Onyejiocha for Isukwuato/Umunneochi Federal Representation, the current House of Reps Member has initiated several Rural development projects including Electrification of some Rural Areas, Empowerment projects/programmes for women, youths and physically challenged persons. She has expanded her Scholarship awards and other academical empowerments.
Hon. Nkiru Onyejiocha has attracted many States and Federal Govt. Projects in Isukwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency. We need an eloquent and bold leader who will not be intimidated by enemies of Ndigbo.
