Urum and Umuchu mother and child hospitals ready , says Ezeokafor

Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Awka, His Lordship Bishop Paulinus Ezekafor says the two hospitals of the diocese located at Urum in Awka North and Umuchu in Aguata facilitated by the Bill and Melinda prize money won by former Governor Peter Obi are ready for commissioning.

 Ezeokafor who spoke at the cathedral in Awka, expressed gratitude to the  correspondents in other media  for their support and collaboration  with the Holy Mother Church in her works of evangelization.

On Peter University building project , he revealed that work was stalled and not stopped as they would not want to waste the structures already put in place should NUC finds fault with them. He informed that over 60 percent who pledged their support during the launching if the Pater University ,have redeemed their pledge to the church

His Christmas Goodwill message was Love shared - the solution to all of man's ills.

On women ordination, Ezeokafor said he would not dabble into it but would state categorically that in accordance with the principal of the Church, the Roman catholic church is not yet ripe for woman ordination . He said women can do any other thin in the church but not priesthood , pointing out that the scripture was supreme and clear on it.
