Unizik Staff, Evangelist Jeff Nwabueze Lost his Wallet in Israel, Recovers It in Onitsha from Pastor Fred Attabo of Living Faith Church

It was a strange tale but there is nothing our God cannot do. His blessings are without pains and for everything there is a reason, He allowed it to happen.

It was in far away Israel that a pilgrim and the Anambra Coordinator of  Nigeria prays , Evangelist Jeff Nwabueze lost his wallet on arrival at Arazim Resort Apartment , Tiberias , Israel. Yours sincerely was his roommate and it really got us worried.

We could not trace where and when it got lost and all efforts within human capacity was deployed to get the lost wallet to no avail. But Evangelist Jeff , ‘the Choirmaster ‘ of Bus 4 as he is called in Israel continued to give us assurances that his blessings and joy could not be taken away by the lost and kept praising God unshakably.

The Bus Captain of Bus Four , and an Overseer of PHAD Ministry, Obosi, Pastor (Dr) Ben Obiaguna who is also a member of the Anambra state Pilgrims Board  gave us hope too that God will provide the wallet and the contents thereof.

Jeff got all the encouragements and support he needed because Bus 4 was indeed a family from Nigeria to Jerusalem and back not without the normal family challenges now and then even in the Holy land.

Jeff went to the Israeli police and authorities to make entries should someone be caught impersonating him in crime scene to avoid his hard earned reputation rocking the boat. He went with Bus 4 guide Eli Gertner although we call him Eli Yahau. He was pained by the lost.

And at the expiration of 10 days we departed Jerusalem to Nigeria without the wallet containing more than 4 identification cards including that of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka where he works, Police community Relations Committee or so, Drivers licence , National Identity card and Voters card with all the ATM cards as well as cheque leaves and some reasonable amount of money to mention but a few.  

But on the Christmas eve, as they were busy doing a Christmas programme, his phone kept ringing and ringing but he kept putting it on busy and later picked allowing the caller to discover that he was in a serious encounter with his creator.

But when he was through and returned back the call, his shout of Praise thy Lord shook the compound that everybody wanted to know why and what happened. He broke the news to the joy of all. They praised God. Evangelist Jeff , immediately alerted me his younger brother although from another mother on the good news and I requested for the story line. He was not in that mood and requested that I join him for the report. I immediately accepted to join him and off we went on Boxing Day, 26^th December, 2014 to Living Faith Church, Worldwide, aka Winners Chapel International Regional Headquarters, Onitsha.

There seated before us, after some preliminary with his few staff on duty sequel to Christmas holiday was the Provincial Pastor of the Living Faith Church Worldwide , Pastor Fred Attabo, a jolly fellow and filled with the spirit of discerning. He talks less, meditates more and listens much as well. He is a digital Pastor, from my little observation and thrives in neatness both from outside to inside despite that his workers were on holidays, the magnificent compound was awesome.

Then, just a swivel and the wallet with all the contents emerged with all of us clapping impromptu. It was awesome. God manifested Himself that we would not serve Him with pains if we believe anyway.

His story: Longer after we must have left the hotel, they checked in and luckily he checked in the same our room 162 with his charming and adorable wife. And his Dollar got missing suddenly; he had emptied his envelop but left over a one piece of his dollar. He was busy looking for it everywhere and in the process drew the drawer of the bed. He saw the wallet loaded.

‘’I opened it after prayers and I noticed it belonged to a Nigerian pilgrim because of the Naira in the wallet. I stumbled on the identity card with the name Jeff Nwabueze , staff of Unizik...’’

He had another challenge as there was no contact number on the cards , he saw to contact Jeff . He concluded one thing. Nnamdi Azikiwe University is in Anmabra state and his office is in Anambra state , so he is going home with the wallet and would go the extra mile in locating the owner.

So when they returned about two days before Christmas , he stumbled into a receipt given by a tailor with a number and he called that number, it happened to be Jeff. That was the connection that brought about a wallet lost in Jerusalem was received in Onitsha.

As if under anointing, Jeff started praising God in high heavens for His mercies and reminding Him all His promises as He has never failed him. He restated that only God Almighty could thank the man of God ,Provincial Pastor of Living Faith Church, Senior Pastor Fred Attabo as he could not thank him enough.

He reminded that it is only God can make such possible and gave Him all thy glory. He was speechless and kept glorifying God. It was a pleasant encounter.

But yours sincerely did not waste time to remind Evangelist Jeff , how I said he hide the purse but forgot where he placed it because our room key inside an envelope was found inside a waste bin in the toilet after fruitless efforts to locate it. But I was sure where I touched it last and native intelligence guided me to the toilet as I saw him throwing away some waste.

 We did that on a lighter note and glorified God, continuously repeating that God has manifested His name that He answereth unconditionally. Praise God!
