Unease among APGA Leaders over Doctored Delegates List

Hon member representing Nnewi South in the Anambra State House of Assembly this morning held a meeting with APGA Ward leaders from Nnewi South.

Mrs Rita Maduagwu told the APGA members that she has changed the names of the winners of the delegates’ election that was held last Thursday in the area.

A similar feat was recorded in the congress that was held at Ihiala wards. Sources from Ihiala Local government also told Elombah.com that members of the party are complaining when information filtered in to them  that the delegates list presented in Awka does not reflect the result of the election.

Addressing the APGA ward leaders, Mrs Maduagwu boasted that the Anambra state governor is aware of her schemes to substitute the delegates list with her own list.

She however assured them that their interest will be protected if they did not protest against the fraud

Recall that Mrs Maduagwu nominees were massively defeated in last delegates’ congress. Elombah.com correspondent who monitored the election stated that Mrs Maduagwu lost in her Ward 3, Ukpor, Nnewi South Local Government Area.

Meanwhile available reports say that Governor Obiano has refused to release results of the congress which took place on Tuesday November 25 and Thursday, November 27, 2014 after almost one week.

Sources in Awka, Anambra state, disclosed that in spite of the fact that that the governor of the state, Chief Willie Obiano, sent serving Commissioners to act as returning officers to the congress, the governor appeared not to be satisfied with the outcome of the congress.
