Tension in Anmabra over APGA House of Assembly primaries

There is total confusion and in some areas near break down of law and order during today’s House of Assembly Primaries.

Many of the Aspirants claimed that there were already candidate’s favourd by the party before going into the contest while other said it was a free contest.

In some quarters , the party leadership is accused of favoritism like in Anaocha constituency 1, there was no election as the party and state allegedly anointed a candidate one Azubuike Imoka who merely walked over the election and was declared before protests by other candidates.

That made the Returning officer, Chinedu Emeka , Anambra state’s Commissioner for Public Utilities to cancel the election. As at the press time there was a high powered meeting going on.

But for Anaocha 2, it was purported to have been won by one Ejike Ene godson of Chief Anthony Enukaeme aka Tonimas Oil and Gas limited.  www.odogwublog.com could not lay hands on the other reports.

Whereas in some areas like Awka south some people who witnessed it said it was free and fair while others disagreed alleging that there was high powered imposition.

Member representing Anaocha constituency now in the state House of Assembly , Hon Ebere Ejioffor said the election came short of expectation but expressed happiness the sham was cancelled by party leadership.
