Group wants automatic ticket for Ekwunife

A group known as Movement for the Actualization of Good Governance in Anambra State (MASGGA) yesterday called on the People’s Democratic Party leadership to grant a consensus ticket to Hon. Uche Ekwunife for the Anambra Central Senatorial election.


Speaking after a stakeholder’s meeting of the group in Awka, the Coordinator, Agbachukwu Ezeife stressed that Ekwunife’s stellar performance in the House of Representatives has endeared her to the people of zone and as such represents PDP best chance of winning the Anambra Central Senatorial seat presently occupied by the APC.

Agbachukwu, son of former Governor of Anambra State,  Chief Chukwuemeka Ezeife advised other elected officials to emulate Ekwunife by giving their people the dividends of democracy and impactful representation.

He said the mission of MASGGA was to ensure that only credible people are elected to represent Anambra State at all levels of government.

Agbachukwu further called on the National Working Committee of the PDP to speedily resolve all crises rocking the leadership of the party in Anambra as it can negatively affect the its fortunes in the coming elections.
