Breaking news: FG impounds Russian plane with arms in Kano

There is apprehension in Kano state this afternoon as the Security operatives intercepted a Russian plane carrying arms and ammunition at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano.

The crews have been taking into custody, according to a security operative who seeks anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media.

The ammunition destination is not yet known whether Nigeria or whether the plane was in transit.
