APGA BoT Member , Ezeonwuka Rommy Congratulates Obiano as convention ratifies Obiano as party leader

Decision of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) at its just concluded party special convention ratifying Anambra State, Governor Willie Obiano, as the party’s national leader and Board of Trustees (BoT) chairman, has been lauded by party faithful.

The Ogirisi of Igbo land and member of the party’s BoT, Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka, said the choice of the new leader was a good step in the right direction

He said the choice of Governor Obiano, as the new party leader was a high point for the party, adding that the Anambra number one citizen had demonstrated the capacity, zeal and passion towards the growth and welfare of APGA since he came on board as the governor.

“His concern towards the growth of the party is a clear indication that he is interested in taking the party to the next level. The ongoing superlative performance of Obiano’s administration in Anambra is what is needed to advertise, market and sell APGA in the South-East and other parts of the country,” he said.

Congratulating all the delegates from all over the country that attended the special convention which also adopted the party’s new amended constitution, Ezeonwuka said the South-East region would support President Goodluck Jonathan in the February election next year.

He praised the wisdom upon which the new amended constitution was constituted which made it possible that certain clauses were amended.

The Igbo leader promised to use his position as Ogirisi Igbo and member of the BoT of APGA to rally support for the governor.
