Anambra Holds House of Assembly Primaries December 3rd, As APGA concludes Delegates Congress


The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA)Anambra state Houses of Assembly Primaries  will hold on December 3rd, 2014 even as the party has concluded its ward delegates congresses across the 326 wards in  the 21 local government areas . The state has 4,653 polling units.

Fillers coming in across the state showed that there was a free, fair and transparent election including Anaocha local government area anticipated to have some hitches sequel to initial alarm raised over the delegate’s election. But there is one or two complaints here and there across the 21 local government areas in the state as some alleged snatching of party machinery while others alleged buying over of the electorates.
Odogwublog.com got information that the traditional ruler of Adazi-Ani and the President General allegedly asked their sons and daughters to vote for their own son, even when they are not supposed to do so.
At Anaocha constituency 1, the member representing the constituency in the state House of Assembly , Hon Ebere Ejiofor said there are issues emanating from the delegates election that needed to be looked into.
But investigations into the delegates election in Anaocha constituency 1 by Odogwublog.com, showed that the party chairman in Anaocha , Ifeanyi Orji allowed a free and transparent conduct without interference and was applauded by all and sundry including Aspirants.
The results available as at press time showed that each ward had 8 contenders or so with three emerging as winners at the end of the delegates open ballot option A4 voting with winners emerging instantly.
 The winners in Anaocha constituency 1 goes thus, at Adazi Ani ward 2 Job Ekemutala, Mrs Patricia Ozor and Emma Chijnmbe won; at Adazi Ani ward 1 Moses Igwilo, Mrs Ndubuisi and Nelson Enendu.
At Adazi Enu ward 1 the winners were Eguene Okeke, Andrew Enenchukwu and Odinaka Anadumueme while at Adazi Enu ward 2 , the winners were Ezezim Alloy , Ejidike Florence and Sir Theophine Nnoli. At Agulu ward 2 , the winners are Sylvester Okonkwo, Mr Oraedum and another person. At Agulu ward 3 , the winners were Juliana Eze, Silas Ejide and Tochukwu Etolue .
Odogwublog.com informs that Agulu ward 4 has Ikem Onuogenna , Nkechi Mbadiwe and another person as winners while at Adazi Nnukwu ward 1 winners were Jacinta Iloabuchi , one Agunwa known as Cas and Jude Ogwo. And in ward 2 of Adazi Nnukwu , Veronica Okoye , Boniface Obichebelum and Mr Elo Azodo won.
Reacting to the development, Hon Ebere Ejioffor who is aspiring to return for a second term said there were issues in some wards in Anaocha , lamented that one Sunday Anunia who won was allegedly upturned. He said there were alleged gun shots at Agulu ward 3 but assured he would investigate the issues raised by the electorates as he could not confirm the veracity of the reports.
On his part, another contender, Azubuike Imoka when contacted said he was not in the mood to speak as at press time.
