Obiano Sues For Peace, Harmonious Co-existence

The Governor of Anambra State Chief Willie Obiano has exhorted Moslems to take advantage of the spiritual lessons and blessings of Prophet Muhammed this Sallah season to promote love and peaceful co-existence among Nigerians. 

The governor made the call in Awka in a special Sallah Message to adherents of the Islamic faith in the country.

According to him  the  celebration of Eid-el-Fitri gives Muslims across the country a veritable opportunity to reflect on the supremacy of peace to nation building. 

Said Obiano “I urge you to reflect on the deeper meanings of the teachings of the holy prophet and seek new ways of working for more peaceful and United Nigeria. No country can experience true progress without peace. May the teachings of the holy prophet guide our relationship with one another this Sallah season and always." 

The governor urged Muslims in the state to pray for peace and security in the country and his beloved Anambra State.

“As you celebrate remember to be vigilant. Take note of people and activities around your neighborhood to ensure noting will breach the peace and security of our state. May I also assure you that my administration is committed to providing the enabling environment for your businesses and economic activities.” Obiano stated.
