Nollywood Stars shine at ‘When Love Happens’ Premiere

The movie, ‘When Love Happens’ premiered amidst much fanfare in Lagos recently at Genesis Deluxe Cinemas, Lekki. Movie industry lovers came out to support the movie which was directed by Seyi Babatope.

 Stars who graced the premiere include OC Ukeje, Beverly Naya, Ruth Kadiri, Enyinna Nwigwe, Mary Lazarus, Sylvia Oluchi, Gideon Okeke, Jennifer Eliogu, Wale Ojo, Ruth Benemesia Opia and many others.

The movie which is a romantic comedy about the lives of three twenty-something professionals in a modern technology driven Lagos and the hilarious and often bizarre adventures in finding romance featured actors like OC Ukeje, Beverly Naya, Desmond Elliot, Gideon Okeke, Oreka Godis, Wale Ojo,Weruche Opia, Oreka Godis and Keppy Ekpeyong, Bukky Wright, Blossom Chukwujekwu amongst others.

Speaking about the movie, OC Ukeje who played the character of Dare, a spoilt rich kid who is used to having his way but messes up an opportunity said, “It was nice getting to work with certain people for the first time in my career. Love is a universal language and everyone is searching for one form of love or the other. The movie aims at making people aware that it is actually possible to find love if you really want it”.

The producer of the movie, Moses Babatope said “It was challenging, exciting and fascinating putting this movie together. It was also fun and eye-opening. We hope that our audience are entertained and also hope to recoup the investment we’ve made. We were deliberate in choosing our cast, after going through their box office records and their acting talents”.

The movie is already in Nigerian cinemas since Friday, October 24, 2014 and has Kene Okwuosa and Kene Mkparu as Executive producers.
