Nigerian Politicians Criminals, Greedy – Arthur Eze

First Lady Dame Patience Jonathan, and Chief Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano, wife of the governor of Anambra State during the South East Widows Empowerment Programme held in Awka

Much is yet to be heard about the South- East Widows Empowerment Programme organized by 4J-2015 For Jonathan being championed by Anambra Oil tycoon and Billionaire businessman, Prince Arthur Eze held at the Alex Ekwueme Square Awka.
Prince Eze released a bomb shell and berated Nigerian politicians, calling them criminals and greedy human beings at the event to welcome Nigeria’s First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan who inaugurated the South East Widows Empowerment programme.
Prince Eze who is the founder of 4J and convener of the programme in conjunction with Dame Jonathan’s Women for Change and Development Initiative, said that the Nigerian nation would not achieve its desired development without peace and love.
He further said most Nigerian politicians do not care about the plight of the populace, especially the less privileged and widows.
He words, “I am happy that this thing is happening while I am still alive. It is Dame Jonathan that asked to gather together all of you widows in the South East who have been suffering since the defunct Biafran Republic and civil war in Nigeria. She is concerned about your sufferings and has promised to assist you with empowerment items. She has also promised to build industries for you, where you will work and earn a living. I am doing this because our politicians do not care, they are criminals, and they are greedy. But President Jonathan is not like that, he is humane and listens to the cries of poor Nigerians and has been working hard to ameliorate their sufferings. With what our Mama Peace is helping us to do, your tears will be wiped away.”
He noted that President Jonathan was being pursued all about for no just cause, adding that Boko Haram was also fighting him because of the Igbo, but assured the President that Ndigbo are solidly behind him and would give him 100 per cent votes.
Dame Jonathan in her remarks emphasized the need for Nigerians to love themselves and to give peace a chance, stressing that all the development people crave for would not be achieved in the midst of violence.
She dwelled more on the need to show love to widows and their children, urging those who still engage in practices that are harmful to widows and children to desist from such, especially women who usually accused their brothers’ wives of killing their husbands.
She said: “If you see a widow, show her love, care for her and her children and do not add to her pains. Love yourselves and share what you have with others. Umuada should stop traditions that maltreat widows and be peacemakers. Women, let us show ourselves love.”
