Linda Ikeji Bounces Back

Celebrity blogger, Linda Ikeji, is back on the blog after google shut down her blog over issues revolving around plagiarism last week Wednesday.

 However, by midnight Friday, LIB was restored on Blogger and Ikeji broke the news on twitter.

“…And Google restores lindaikeji. blogspot.com. I hear it’s a record. Normally it takes weeks or months to restore a deleted blog but not LIB,” Ikeji had boasted.

Google restored the blog after verifying that the allegations of plagiarism which culminated in the shutdown were groundless. Earlier on Thursday, Ikeji had directed readers to her new site, lindaikejionline..

Though not a graduate of journalism, Ikeji has become one of Nigeria’s most sought after bloggers as brands find her blog irresistible because of the massive traffic it generates, before she made it as a blogger, Ikeji had worked as a model and ran an events/ media platform and published a magazine, FM&B, which ended up a flop before she discovered blogging in 2006.

Today Ikeji is a trendsetter, a role model and drives choice cars. She also owns cosy apartments in exclusive neighbourhoods across the Lagos metropolis. Ikeji generated a lot of controversy a while ago when she posted a picture of her latest toy, an automobile, which cost a whopping N25 million.
