Church Ordains 581 Pastors Amid Crisis

The crisis-ridden Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide has ordained 581 members as new pastors of the church in its recently concluded annual convention.

The 24-year-old crisis has taken its toll on the church as both feuding factions, Supreme Council and General Executive Council claiming authenticity and control of the church.

As a result of the crisis, two parallel conventions were held at Ikeji-Arakeji and Ikire.

Thousands of worshippers and well wishers including Ekiti State deputy-governor elect, Dr. Olusola Kolapo Eleka, congregated at Alasepe in Ikire to rejoice with the new pastors who were drawn from different parts of the country like Ibadan, Lagos, Akure, Rivers, among others.
