AIG Emeka Okeke Celebrates In Grand Style In Obosi, Snubs A Blogger Over Interview, Nearly Pushed Him Out

It was celebration galore for the recently promoted Assistant Inspector General Of Police (AIG) Emeka Okeke  at his little wood estate mansion Obosi , Idemmili North local government area of Anambra state shortly after his thanksgiving for a deserved promotion and retirement as well as health restored to his wife after years of ill health and house warming ceremony reports odogwuemekaodogwu.blogspot.com exclusively.

Friends from all walks of life attended the thanksgiving organized by friends and family members with his consent as he wanted to do his thing his own way before his friends and associates gathered and took it over from him.

The clergy including Bishops as well as bishop on the Niger , Bishop Nwokolo and police top Bra including Anambra state commissioner of police as well as personalities from Obosi worshipped  and celebrated with AIG Okeke Rtd at the All Saint’s Anglican Church , Little Wood Obosi , Idemmili North . AIG Okeke retired from Jos Plateau state Police College.

But strangely , the celebrant snubbed the CEO/MD of Odogwu Media, Comrade Odogwu Emeka Odogwu dully invited for coverage of the function with a plea. This is what transpired:

Odogwuemekaodogwu.com and odogwuemekaodogwu.blogspot.com was busy outside capturing events when an acquaintance Emeka Ike Orizu an indigene happy seeing the Blogger demanded to know how he came but was told the committee led by Omezie Chukwurah known as The Governor in Obosi and environs invited the Blog and online newspaper.

Later in about one hour he resurfaced and said AIG Okeke would be interviewed and Odogwu media CEO followed him with a colleague. The man introduced me as The Nation Correspondent and AIG nodded his head but Odogwu Media CEO was quick to  correct that to avoid claiming what he was not. He told AIG Okeke that he was previously with The Nation but now a Blogger mentioning his blog and newspaper online and asked if 2 minutes could be spared but the AIG changed his countenance and asked for a’ break’ snobbishly –what is it? Hold on? In vernacular.

Then Odogwu Media chief asked apparently did not understand what he meant by that and appealed for just two minutes for his mind set as friends and foes alike gathered to celebrate him but got the bashing of  a disciplined police officer whose words are obeyed without questions not knowing Odogwu Media boss was not a police officer.

He lost his cool for that simply clarification and nearly pushed Odogwu Media boss out of his inner chamber where Ike-Orizu took him to interview the man. The blogger and his ally quietly left and continued doing their work even though the so called ‘Governor’ was not helping maters. It is either he was full of himself or he neglected the importance of blog.  He probably wanted to see the conventional media men of which none but two and three local who were not prepared for risks at that point in time attended even the NTA crew appeared not getting its bearing at the event as at press time. ABS crew surprisingly were not there as well as other radio and TV stations in Anambra even Odenigbo in Obosi was not sighted allegedly.

But the auction of AIG Okeke against the Blogger pained Emeka Ike-Orizu who apologized for his unruly behavoiur to the blogger describing him as a nice man who must have been overwhelmed by his guests from far and near. He said Obosi is privileged to have AIG Okeke although retired but not tired adding that he was a police officer  not known for bribery and corruption hence he just built a befitting structure for himself after several years of service. He is a true Christian and has contributed a lot to Obosi development and peace hence I am surprised by his disposition but ‘’don’t take it to heart as he was overwhelmed and does not behave such way……………………….probably he does not have the time for the media but hold on you will still interview him. You can see people were all over him although he was free when we approached him. ….don’t see it as anything  …he is not that person you think he is….. he is human and may not be in good mood then unknown to us………….

Again Mr Ebokasia Raphael described him as the only nice man around as he is too good to hurt a fly even as a police officer. He not only apologized for the AIG’s action but said his promotion is worth celebrating and the entire Obosi was and still is  happy for him. Thanked God for his wife’s health , his promotion and retirement …………………
