President Goodluck Jonathan Wednessday stormed the National Secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to collect his expression of interest and nominations to enable him contest the February, 2015 Presidential election.
He came in person to picked up his nomination form in a bid to contest on the PDP platform for the Presidency of Nigeria in 2015.

work with all Nigerians to move the country from its present level to where
Nigeria should be, however boasted that he would have still picked the form if
the party had refused him right of first refusal and did not give him the

leaders of the Party for “believing in me and giving me the right of first
refusal”. With this Jonathan becomes the sole and consensus candidate of the
PDP, Nigeria’s most dominant political force.
Speaking at the party’s National
Executive Committee, NEC hall shortly after he received the two forms from the
National Organizing Secretary, Alhaji Abubakar Mustapha, the elated President
said, “First let me thank God for today, and thank Nigerians that were here
today for this brief ceremony. Let me thank the leadership of our party and all
member of our party for believing in me and for giving me the right of first
refusal.
“I could have still picked the form
if they did not give me. But giving the me the right of first refusal has
attracted more people that ordinarily it would have had.
The election campaign season is already
proving to be quite an expensive affair, and one of real consequence for the
two politicians in a national atmosphere of mounting economic, security and
international crises.
