Two Stories Emerge From Eye Witnesses On Eke Awka Market As Vigilant Group Shots One To Death , Others Injured Because Of Memory Card

Two tales emerged after the pandemonium in Eke Awka Anambra state  and odogwuemekaodogwu.com will  brings you the two sides from fans who witnessed the incident for your judgment :

The first story goes thus --- ----The problem was between some pay loaders in other words called the labourers at ogbo mmanu[oil section of the market close to where they sale live chicken],the issues was about MEMORY CARD and one of the loaders went and call Vigilantes in the market ,one of the Vigilantes on getting there aimed his Gun on the air and shoot and when he brought the Gun down ,he forgot to return it to safety and accidentally a bullet was released and lodged by the chest side of an innocent bystander, who was rushed to the Hospital that is very close to the market ,just opposite side of the road.

The accidental discharge angered the market traders who gave a pulp beating to the Vigilantes and the one that shot the bullet were beaten to point of "only God can save".

That act forced many people to close shop and run for cover ,meanwhile Police where able to get the boy that invited the GUN tooting Vigilante boys, he was led away in handcuff ,looking at the boy with his very dirty shirt that never saw water for a big while, black trousers that must have seen a better day and sandals that has disintegrated from the joints, you will wonder what on earth made him to brought the Vigilantes that led to the death of the innocent bystander and the beating to half death of the Vigilantes.

The other eye witness sent in this -----There was palpable tension in Awka, the Capital City of Anambra State over the shoot-out by the market security men.

According to an eye witness account, the problem started when a barrow pusher (name unknown) brought a report that someone came and harassed him and took away his phone and later gave him back the phone without the memory card inside the phone.

The source further revealed that the chairman in charge of the Eke Awka market ordered one of the vigilante to follow the boy who came to complain and go and get the boy who collected the memory card from his phone.

It was gathered that when they got to the boy who collected the memory card there was a little disagreement between him and the vigilante man that led the vigilante man to shoot at him but the person was able to dodge the bullets released and it shattered on an innocent man who is simply identified as Mr Ejiofor from Enugu state. Mr Ejiofor reportedly died immediately as shops were shut down throughout the day.

However, there was rowdy section at the market premises and that of the Septon hospital where the victims were taken to for medical attention.
